our tutors - Christoph

Christoph is an MPhil student in International Relations at Oxford. He studied his undergraduate degree at the University of Mannheim in Germany, and at Trinity College, Dublin. His research focus lies in the area of conflict research and he is particularly interested in post-conflict environments. At present, he is completing his dissertation on different post-conflict justice processes such as trials, amnesties and truth-commissions, investigating their effectiveness in bringing stability to post-conflict societies. This includes field research in Colombia. Outside of his main area of interest Christoph is also working on a research project at the Oxford Institute of Ethics, Violence and Armed Conflict.

Outside of academic, he loves sport (especially football, skiing, running and climbing), live music, reading and travelling around the world!
