Our Tutors: Nancy

March 21, 2017 - 1 minute read

We’ve started recruiting an all-star cast of tutors for you here at the Oxbridge International Summer School and in this series we’ll be learning a bit more about them.

Today we’d like to introduce you to one of the tutors on our English course, Nancy. Nancy is currently in the final months of her DPhil in the department of English at the University of Oxford where she holds a Rothermere Fellowship and SSHRC Doctoral Award. She completed her honours undergraduate degree in English and Biology and two first-class masters’ degrees (English and Women’s and Gender Studies) in Canada. Her current research, which has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, focuses on First World War life-writing. It examines, in particular, the multiple coping strategies employed on the written page by soldiers, nurses, home front wives, mothers, and returning veterans.

We’re really excited to have Nancy join us this summer. Take a look at our English course here and apply now!
